Aegna excursions and cruises
If you have not yet visited the island of Aegna, then before you start exploring the island on your own, read what interesting things the island has to offer. There are many times more places to see than there is total free time in one day.
If you aim to hike for 4 hours and then rest and eat for 2 hours, you will have maxed out Aegna within 6 hours.
On the island, 6 hours has become a custom, so you can get rid of guilt and rest. If you leave at 10 in the morning, you would be back in the city by 7 o’clock at the latest.
Since we make trips with MONICA and ELINA cruise ships, a longer day with entertainment or a shorter day that starts only with a leisurely excursion is conceivable for a larger group. You don’t have to worry about catering, we have fed almost 500 athletes during the day at Aegna.

Too many places for one day?
The island of Aegna has an unparalleled nature – a primeval spruce forest and, spacious pine trees, deserted beaches and a bee meadow, and a parking lot with giant boulders for children who enjoy climbing. Nature is so diverse on the island of Aegna that you can even stay to enjoy its beauty and silence.
However, since a person cannot stay in one place for long, fortunately there are dozens of other places that could be discovered. The island of Aegna has been Tallinn’s sea gate for centuries, and therefore you can find plenty of military concrete submerged in greenery.
In addition to the tsarist military monuments, the island also has military objects from the Soviet era and abandoned and dilapidated holiday homes, which offers an exciting discovery under the guidance of a knowledgeable guide. Since you can’t see all that there is to see in one day, we recommend visiting Aegna several times or ordering an excursion with meals and a boat ride.

The golden mean – excursion combo tour

3-tunnine giidiga ekskursioon tutvustab külastajatele nii saare militaarobjekte, kultuurilugu kui selle unikaalset ajalugu.
Esimene peatus on Eesti kõige tihedamalt asetseva kivikülvi juures – 170×140 m suurusel platsil paikneb 23 kaitsealust rändrahnu, lisaks kümmekond väiksemat. Saame teada, kust on Tulekivi saanud oma nime.
The peculiar cemetery of the island is also located right next to the stone sowing.
The second stop is at one of Aegna’s most important military facilities, the command post, from where the entire island’s artillery fire was once directed. Right next to it, however, we find the city of Jerusalem.
The third stop takes place in the center of the island, where a lively life once flourished during Estonia. The most prominent objects here are the Flora officers’ casino and the huge barracks canteen.
The fourth stop is one of Aegna’s most powerful military objects – Battery no. at 1. It was once home to 2 huge artillery towers with a local command center. Not far from the battery we can see the ruins of the searchlight shelter and the searchlight exit path. A few hundred meters away, however, there is a nice sandy beach suitable for bathing.
After that, the road takes us back to the port, where it is possible to order a great home
lunch.
